Ever since casinos came to be, there has been a number of betting systems that numerous players have practiced. Despite being popular systems, the statistics speak for themselves. We have all heard the sob stories of gamblers losing all of their money in a matter of a few bets. This is why you should not put your trust in these systems.
Disadvantages Of Betting Systems
There are a lot of betting systems out today. Unfortunately, they are all flawed, and none assure you of winning a hundred percent. In most cases, they simply do not work.
Here are the most popular betting systems and their flaws:
1.The Gambling Fallacy
This system involves assuming that if a card has not turned up it is highly probable that it will turn up shortly.
This system is highly inaccurate and risky.
The probability of getting a certain card gives you unfavorable odds.
2.The Martingale System
This system involves doubling your bet once you are on a losing streak to make up for a loss.
This system does not take to account the number of times you can lose.
Doubling your bet every time you lose can easily wipe out your budget, and even put you in debt.
3.The D`Alembert System
This system is similar to the Martingale system, but less risky. It involves decreasing your bets once you are winning, and gradually increasing your bets once you are losing.
Although safer, this system still does not take to account the number of times you can lose.
It may involve gradually increasing your bets once you start losing, but this is just a slower way of losing your money.
4.The Parlay System
Used in horse racing, this system involves using the profits gained from a prior bet to bet on the next.
The problem with this system is that it expects you to win on the first bet, but what if the first bet was a failure?
Often times, if the first bet was not a win, you end up losing your budget.
5.The Paroli System
This system is the complete opposite of the Martingale system.
The problem with this system is that you never know when a winning streak will start.
6.1 3 2 6 System
This system involves betting in a series of 4. The first bet is a single unit, the second is 3 units, the third is 2 units, and the last is 6 units. It is a mathematical system that assures winning 4 times on a row.
The problem with this system is that it does not take to account that you can easily lose 4 times in a row.
As you can see, all of these systems are flawed. There is actually no perfect system, which simply means that you cannot put your faith in any of these systems. Your best betting system would be to know when to cut your losses, not lose control, and cash in your winnings when you’ve made a profit.
