Hoffenheim suddenly remembered how to play football again 3 weeks ago. They 1st drew away to Dortmund then scored 5 past Hamburg (5-1) before they went to Frankfurt to win by 2-1 last weekend, but they will still finish 11th win or lose today.

Stuttgart want to win big (4 goals) just in case Dortmund are defeated at Freiburg, in which case Stuttgart will have a shot in the Europa League. They dropped 2 valuable points at home vs Mainz last weekend and these may prove the most precious points they dropped all season.

Hertha are officially relegated and done with. They can’t even leave the foot of the table. Maybe they would want to leave with a bang, and they did win the corresponding fixture last season, but it’s hard to see them getting a result here. Not with their luck anyway.

Bayern are official champions, unless you think they will lose here and –at the same time- Schalke will win at Mainz and the combined results can make up for 17 goals too.
