Nottingham were shocked at Derby the weekend before last, having conceded their 1st away defeat in this season’s Championship, but they responded well by winning their home game vs Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
Still, Forest need to win this away game to keep Newcastle at (the top) in sight, and also to keep the pressure on WBA (2nd on the table) who are only 1 point better than Forest.
Coventry are winless in 5 (4 Championship) but have drawn in their last 3, so that’s why the odds on the away win are this generous.
For the last 3 H2H games though (last season’s 2 and this season’s reverse) Nottingham won twice at home and drew away to Coventry.
Since 1978; Nottingham have always considered Coventry to be a good hunting place, with a record of 4-10-11 over these 3+ decades.
Although Coventry have no fresh injuries to worry about they will still be without Turner, Hall and Clarke, all of whom are defenders, and I would say Forest attack is good enough to find the net more than once in their absence.
Forest themselves are almost fully fit, and have a surplus of strikers that they may opt to shuffle their front line.
A clear away win to me, and more than appealing odds too, so I can’t resist.
