Much favoured Ghana will be weary off another African Cup of Nations upset on Saturday but have the quality to see of a Mali side who could cause problems against the Black Stars as they look to qualify from Group D.
Ghana edged past Botswana in their opening group game thanks to a first half strike by captain John Mensah however the Black Cats didn’t look like tournament favourites on that outing and will want to dispel any rumours that they will fall as they did in Angola two years ago.
The Black cats are firm favourites for this game and at odds of 5/6 with Canbet are a little bit disappointing given the sides showing against Botswana and the quality Mali poses could see them get something out of the game so a bet with Bet365 at 9/2 for a Mali win could be fruitful given the experienced Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita leading the team and with the Mali side currently level on points, this encounter could see the winner finish top of Group D.
Ghana are favoured with every bookmaker with short odds however there can still be money won on a victory for the Black Cats but it seems there is more to made on a Mali win which doesn’t seem unlikely.
Both sides will look to play an attacking game and a draw is 12/5 at Pinnacle. Another interesting bet with William Hill is Asamoah Gyan to score two goals or more at 4/1 is surely worth a punt.
