Scotland really disappointed us in their friendly vs Sweden. A 0-3 defeat was very well deserved and we fear Lithuania at home are a tough proposition for this Scottish side. Losing to the likes of Japan and Wales towards the end of 2009 also doesn’t help, and we don’t think beating the Czech Republic last March is anything to go by.

The last time these two met officially was in Euro 2008 qualifiers and Scotland won both legs (3-1 at home and 2-1 away). In Euro 2004 each won at home by 1-0 though, and we fear this time around Lithuania has vastly improved and gained much experience, while the Scots are on the decline.

We don’t see the Scots winning away for a start. They may or may not be able to come back home with a point, but the value is on the home win at the odds on offer.
