We call it the ‘misty’ group, and for a good reason. You can never tell which way the Serbs, the Slovenians, the Northern Irish or even the Italians nowadays are heading. Anything can happen in this group, and it was proven on Friday when ‘traditionally’ poor traveling Northern Ireland managed a win away to Slovenia.

The Italians barely escaped the Estonian trap, while Serbia regained their momentum at Faroe Islands after a dismal show in the WC finals.

Still, Serbia as mega favourites against fellow former Yugoslav is not looking good on them, for we have often been bitten by the so-called mega favourites before. In fact, we would stick out our necks to state the Serb do not have it easy when they play Eastern European sides.

That and the fact another defeat for the visitors will virtually end their hopes to even finish 2nd, and you get a situation on your hands handling these odds.

Slovenia are of a stiff defense though. They come to Belgrade in search of -at least- one point. They will do everything they can to avoid conceding a goal.

Serbia not only have difficulties scoring against dense defenses, but theirs is also considered a mean defense and they are more likely to keep a clean sheet in similar encounters than not.

A draw, maybe, but under 1.5 goals is probably the best bet.
