You can never be sure of anything in Football anymore and one thing that has continuously been suggested is Fernando Torres’ exit from Chelsea and a look around the betting market offers a keen sense of intrigue.

The Spanish striker has made an appalling start to his well documented Chelsea career and there have been many links with a move to PSG with new boss Carlo Ancelotti insisting that he has been offered the chance to link up with Torres again after paying £50million for him last January.

Naturally there are a few markets opening up for a potential departure before Tuesday’s transfer window slams shut but the most interesting that I highlighted was the 14/1 that Skybet are offering as to PSG being the 27-year-old’s destination, despite there being five days left of the window there is still a huge amount of time for a deal to happen involving Torres and although manager Andres Villas-Boas is keen to hold onto the striker, he could well look to sell in order to bring his own striker in.

Another offering that interested me was Malaga’s 25/1 making them fourth favourites to sign the player after both his former clubs Liverpool and Atletico Madrid but with Malaga’s cash flow seemingly continuos a move like this could interest Torres who needs to start scoring because at this moment in time he is risking his place in Spain’s Euro 2012 squad.

His move to Chelsea was dealt in a quick fashion on transfer deadline day so it wouldn’t be a surprise if his rumoured move out was too. A flutter on PSG or Malaga could prove a nice win should he move on.
